Arc System Works has announced that Guilty Gear Strive will be on PlayStation 5 and Steam as well as PlayStation 4. The new trailer also shows off returning character Leo Whitefang and newcomer Nagoriyuki. Strive will be available in spring 2021.
Kenji Matsubara, Sega President & Chief Publishing Officer, has resigned. According to the official release, his resignation is “for personal reasons.” Matsubara assumed his current role in April 2020. Previously, he was president and CEO of Tecmo Koei.

During today’s Avengers War Table stream Square Enix announced the first hero to be joining the team after the game launches, Clint “Hawkguy” Barton. From what I’ve read, Hawkguy uses a bow and arrow and may, but probably doesn’t, transform into a hawk.

Koei Tecmo is finally talking about a western release for Persona 5 Scramble. The company’s most recent fiscal report mentions that a localized version of the “musou” game is being planned for the United States and Europe. No further details were provided.

Surudenise is self-publishing a coloring book, allowing you to bring your own palette to the streets of Japan. The book, titled Daydreaming in Japan, is out July 30. More on the artist’s site.

Published last year in Japan as Iwata-San, Ask Iwata: Words of Wisdom from Nintendo’s Legendary CEO is the English translation of Hobonichi’s biography of late, great Nintendo leader Satoru Iwata. The English translation was announced today by Viz Media, with digital and print release scheduled for next year.
Tetris Effect is getting a new multiplayer version. Tetris Effect: Connected is the original audiovisual trance explosion, but with new co-op and competitive modes. Connected will launch on Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X later this year, but it’ll come to other platforms as a free Tetris Effect update in summer 2021.
