Apex Legends Season 6 launches August 18, developer Respawn announced today. The new season will feature a new Legend, crafting (?!), and a new weapon.
Through Monday, multiplayer will be available to all Xbox One players, regardless of Xbox Live Gold status. Microsoft is also unlocking a ton of games, including Gears 5 and Borderlands 3. Serious Sam 4 has suffered a small delay. Originally set to come out this month on Stadia and PC, it’s now not releasing until September 24. It’s still not clear when the game will eventually come to consoles. The Stadia exclusivity deal appears to go into 2021.

This year’s Call of Duty will be a collaborative effort between Treyarch and Raven Software, publisher Activision Blizzard announced during today’s earnings call. Snowman’s incredibly chill snow/sandboarding games, Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Oddysey, are coming to consoles and PC. The two games are combined into one as The Alto Collection, launching August 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Game Store, with a Switch version coming at a later date.
It looks like cars are coming to Fortnite tomorrow, based on several tweets from the Fortnite Twitter account. Players have been looking forward to them for a while.
