Apex Legends Season 6 launches August 18, developer Respawn announced today. The new season will feature a new Legend, crafting (?!), and a new weapon.

Serious Sam 4 has suffered a small delay. Originally set to come out this month on Stadia and PC, it’s now not releasing until September 24. It’s still not clear when the game will eventually come to consoles. The Stadia exclusivity deal appears to go into 2021.

According to Sony’s first-quarter financial results for 2020, PlayStation Plus currently has nearly 45 million active users around the world, a gain of nearly 3.4 million over the previous quarter. That number should jump significantly now that Fall Guys is a free PlayStation Plus game.

This year’s Call of Duty will be a collaborative effort between Treyarch and Raven Software, publisher Activision Blizzard announced during today’s earnings call. This confirms a Kotaku report from last year, in which sources indicated the Call of Duty for 2020 would be a Cold War-based Black Ops 5.

Snowman’s incredibly chill snow/sandboarding games, Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Oddysey, are coming to consoles and PC. The two games are combined into one as The Alto Collection, launching August 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Game Store, with a Switch version coming at a later date.
