Today in Japan, Koei Tecmo just announced a self-titled Dynasty Warriors mobile game for iOS and Android. A closed beta gets underway next month in Japan. No word yet on an international release.

Originally announced for the PS4, Atelier Ryza 2 is also coming to PlayStation 5. Those who purchase the PlayStation 4 version can get the PS5 version through an update. Those who have already preordered the PS4 version can cancel. Atelier Ryza 2 will be released this winter.

Level-5's new action RPG Megaton-Kyuu Musashi is getting an anime adaptation that will debut next summer, the company announced today at the virtual Tokyo Game Show. The mecha game’s release is still TBA, but it’s slated for Switch, PS4, iOS and Android. 

During today’s Tokyo Game Show stream, Capcom said it was “looking into” bringing Resident Evil Village to PS4 and Xbox One. Previously, the game was only announced for next-gen hardware and PC. Capcom said, however, it cannot yet make any promises the game will get a current-gen console release. 

The last season of Attack on Titan begins airing on December 6 in Japan. The show debuted in 2013 with animation duties handled by Wit Studio. The last season will be from Mappa. 

Free-to-play mobile game Nier: Reincarnation, which wrapped up a closed beta in Japan last month, is getting a Western release. Slated for iOS and Android, details about its North American and European release are still scant. 

Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam on April 23, 2021 in North America and Europe. Developed by Toylogic and published by Square Enix, it’s an upgraded version of Nier Replicant, which was previously a PS3 exclusive in Japan.
