Epic Finally Releases Fortnite Patch Notes

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold releases on the Nintendo Switch on Feb. 14, 2020. The colorful action RPG is made by Level-5, makers of Dark Cloud and the Ni no Kuni games. It is an expanded port of the previously Japanese only 3DS game The Snack World: Treasurers.

The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 will last until early February, Epic announced today. The developer says “new game features, free rewards and a live experience” are all still to come in the season.

Dragon Quest X is getting a browser game version in Japan. Next year, it will be playable on PC, smartphones, and tablets. More details are expected to be revealed at a later date. No word yet on an international release.

In the first three days on sale in Japan, Pokémon Sword and Shield sold 1.365 million copies at retail. While digital downloads aren’t included, these sales figures have made the games the biggest first-week Switch sellers to date in Japan. Warframe’s The Old Blood update went live today for PS4 and Xbox One Released a few weeks ago on PC, it adds a new body horror-inspired Warframe whose torso is a giant mount as well as a new villain and changes to the melee system. The Switch version shouldn’t be far behind.

I still hate Jack, Gears of War’s Pixar-like companion drone, but after hearing the inspiration behind him I appreciate why he exists. Gears 5 director Rod Fergusson said at a recent game conference that Jack was meant to give non-Gears players an approachable cooperative role similar to Mario Galaxy’s co-star mode.
