Spelunky 2 on PC won’t have online multiplayer at launch, according to a Steam update today. However, the developer writes, “On the plus side, that will give us time to keep improving the online before you try it, as well as implement cross-platform play between Steam and PS4.”

Rocket League is going free-to-play next week on September 23. That’s also when the game will move to the Epic Games Store and no longer be for sale on Steam. The game’s seasons will reboot then as well, starting back at one.

Spelunky 2 will be available on Steam starting September 29, two weeks after the PlayStation 4 release. This follow-up to the popular 2013 roguelike includes new areas, enemies, traps, and items for would-be explorers to encounter.

EA Play, the publisher’s recently rebranded subscription service, will finally be available on Steam starting August 31. Previously the only way to use it on PC was through EA’s own Origin client.
