The Switch seems like it’s off to a good start in China. In the first nine hours, pre-orders of the Switch surpassed 100,000. As Nintendo Soup explained, these numbers are from JD.com, China’s largest online retailer, so factoring in other retailers, the real number might be higher.

Mecha game Daemon X Machina is getting Witcher III themed threads, hairdos, and body types, letting players turn their anime-style pilots into Geralt or Ciri with the character creation tool. Nintendo has announced that the Switch will launch in China on December 10. It will be priced at 2,099 yuan ($297) and Tencent will be the console’s local sales agent.
