CultureCrusader Kings III’s Loading Screens Are Masterpieces
Paradox’s grand strategy games have always had loading screen art—something you see a lot of over the months/years you play these games—that can best be described as “functional”. CultureEA Adds, Then Quickly Removes, Ads From UFC 4 After Fans Go Ballistic
At some point over the last week, Electronic Arts took a game already full of ads—it’s a sports game, it comes with the territory!—and added more. Only this wasn’t an in-world kinda deal, it was a literal commercial flashing around in the middle of a fight. You can see an example in the gif above,…

OpinionDownhill Jam Still Sucks In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2
The new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake released this week is really good. As a long time fan, I’ve been unable to put it down. It feels like a classic Tony Hawk game, but with fancy visuals and some quality life of improvements. And also, Downhill Jam, a level from THPS1, still sucks. I’m…

Normally, you won’t find floating letters hanging around skateparks waiting to be collected.
