Wii Fit, it's gonna bust some abs. It's also going to turn some heads, slightly sideways, as you try and explain how it works. See, it's different. And it's certainly unique. But it's not one-of-a-kind, because, as Ian Bogost points out over at Water Cooler Games, it had a predecessor. Amiga's 1982 Powerboard, for the Atari VCS. It was a flat pad, you leaned on it to control the game, and like its modern counterpart, you could even go skiing on it. Consider this the one new thing you learned today.
