Pachter speaks, the internet listens. All it takes from The Pach is a whisper, a gentle suggestion that it might be a good idea for GTA IV to be delayed, and everyone's talkin' GTA IV delays. Sadly, for gossip-mongers, Pachter fans and Pachter's batting average alike, this one's a bust.

Rockstar have confirmed the game's still on-track for an October release, Halo 3 or no Halo 3. Which sounds like common sense to me. GTA IV bows to no man, Master Chief or not. After all, come the holiday season GTA will be selling like crack-filled hotcakes (crackcakes?) on both sides of the console divide, not just one. Luke Plunkett
