Fortnite Season Six Brings Adorable Pets

Fortnite’s Season 6 is here. There’s no big event this time around, but there are new items, new areas to get eliminated in, and look at the puppy. Season 5 ended with the game’s long moving cube dissolving into Loot Lake and turning the surface bouncy. With Season 6, the cube has launched an island…

That’s nearly $89,000. Nintendo filed suit against MariCar, now known as MariMobility, early last year for intellectual property violation. The MariCar tours are incredibly popular with…

“Video Games” Was On Jeopardy Tonight, And It Did Not Go Well

There’s a reason the three contestants left the category until last. Here’s some video: To be fair, “Halo” wasn’t that far off, and I always thought Joust had you flying on fictional ostrich-like animals, not actual ostriches

World Of Warcraft Community, Blizzard Rally To Support Modder In Need

Modding a game like World of Warcraft can earn you widespread acclaim, but it doesn’t exactly pay the bills. For all the accolades developer Adam Williams received for Deadly Boss Mods, a raid tool considered indispensable by WoW’s community, he still found himself burnt-out on raiding and too poor to pay for badly-needed dental surgery…

A Game About Going To Art School In A World Made Out Of 90s Screen Savers

Once upon a time I painted a lot. I won some minor awards in high school, and I almost studied art in college. But the closest I ever got was watching Terry Zwigoff’s 2006 satire Art School Confidential. It’s a about a wide-eyed college freshman whose idealism is beaten out of him by the pettiness,…

The First Episode Of Life Is Strange 2 Doesn’t Hide Its Politics

In certain ways, Life Is Strange 2 is a huge departure from the first game. It’s set in a different city, with wildly different characters. It ditches the Gossip Girl-meets-Twin Peaks murder mystery for a harsher story about two teenagers on the run. But it’s still an over the top teenage angst fest. Life Is…

Every Car In Forza Horizon 4 Has Its Own Perk Tree, So Of Course I’m Hooked

Back in 2016 I spent a great deal of time farming skill points in Forza Horizon 3 in order to unlock bonuses in the game’s Skill Shop perks tree. In Forza Horizon 4, every single one of the over 450 cars in the game has its own perks tree to unlock. I am filled with…
