
While the original MapleStory gets an official chair, the Japanese version of MapleStory 2 gets shut down. A post on Nexon’s Japanese website (via Siliconera) informs players the 3D sequel will be ending service on May 27, just short of a year after launch. The English version of the game is safe for now.

Here is a look at the live-action version of popular cycling manga Yowamushi Pedal. The movie is slated for an August 14 release in Japan and stars Kentaro Ito and Kanna Hashimoto. No word yet about an international release.

BitSummit, the annual indie game event held in Kyoto, will not be held this May 9 and 10 due to coronavirus COVID-19 concerns. “Our plans are to continue working on the next edition of BitSummit,” organizers write, “and we will share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.”

Japan is getting a Panzer Dragoon game tentatively titled Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record sometime in the next year.
