Wasteland 3 has been delayed by several months due to new Covid-19-related work-from-home policies. Previously set to arrive in May, the game will now come out on August 29. “The reality is that with these new logistical challenges our release was going to be impacted,” inXile Entertainment said. 

Fallout 76's big Wastelanders update has been delayed by a week. Bethesda said in a statement today that the major expansion adding new story quests and characters would be pushed back from April 7 to April 14 due to new work from home policies implemented amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Funcom’s April Fool’s 2019 prank turned real game, Conan Chop Chop is no longer coming out on February 25. The cartoony hack-and-slash game has been pushed to the second quarter of 2020 so developer Mighty Kingdom can *reads through press release* um, finish making it.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the series’ free-to-play mobile spin-off, won’t come to Switch until next year, Bethesda announced today. The port was originally supposed to launch this fall, but the company said that it needed to be delayed due to work on improving the game, including an overhaul of how loot works.

Two of publisher Deep Silver’s planned 2018 releases, Metro Exodus and Shenmue III, have been delayed until 2019. In both cases, Deep Silver cited the need for more time to polish each game. It’s another reminder that nebulous, year-long release windows almost never end up being accurate.

Dark Souls: Remastered for the Switch has been delayed. It was originally due out May 25, which is when the game comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but will now be coming sometime “later this summer” according to Bandai Namco.
