Sony Still Thinks UMD Is Swell

UMD is not dead. Even with a number of film studios ditching the format and fewer retailers carrying it, UMD still has a bright future. And any problems, well, they ain't UMDs fault. Nope. Says Sony Europe's Ray Maguire:

We're pretty pleased with UMD... UMD has a fantastic attachment ratio. Where we've struggled a little is getting a decent proposition for full-length movies. UMD is not the problem—it's getting the right content that's the challenge.
