Super Mario Maker 2 will be out on Switch on June 28. Nintendo dropped the news today in a tweet, but still hasn’t revealed much else about the game since February’s Nintendo Direct. We learned a ton from that trailer but questions still remain like which characters will be playable.

Puyo Puyo Champions is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on May 7. A variant of Puyo Puyo with a heavy emphasis on competitive play, it includes some new online multiplayer modes, an improved replay system, and eight-player tournaments.

XIII, the 2003 stealth first-person shooter based on a graphic novel of the same name, is getting a remake this fall. The remake is being handled by PlayMagic who say it will retain the style of the original, with a targeted release date of November 13, 2019 on Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order comes out on Switch on July 19. Announced at last year’s Game Awards, the action role-playing game has four player coop both online and locally, and revolves around trying to hunt down and collect the Infinity Stones before Thanos can.

SNK’s reboot of weapons-based fighting series Samurai Shodown, AKA Samurai Spirits, arrives on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June, with a Switch version coming later this year and a PC port at a later date. The game will be playable at PAX East this weekend. Embrace death, everybody!

Three heroes unite for a fourth time this fall in Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. Modus Games is handling development duty on the fourth installment of the co-op puzzle platforming series, in which a wizard, warrior and rogue walk into yet another epic adventure for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Originally scheduled for February 22, Metro Exodus has gone gold and will now launch on February 15. Publisher Deep Silver celebrates the announcement with the game’s haunting title sequence, featuring music by composer Alexey Omelchuk.

Gengar and Mimikyu on one card? Either it’s a sign of the apocalypse, or it’s the Pokémon Trading Card Game Sun & Moon Tag Team expansion. Announced at the 2018 World Championships and launching February 1, the expansion features high risk, high reward Tag Team cards, which also serve as shipping fodder.

The beautifully pixel animated, hoverbike racing game Desert Child will release for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on December 11. It takes place in a futuristic solar system where you can customize your ride to shoot stuff and win races all while chilling to lo-fi hip-hop.

The beautiful and haunting platformer Gris will release on Switch and PC on December 13. I demoed the game over the summer and was impressed with how elegantly the gameplay and animation meshed together.  

Team Sonic Racing has been delayed until next year. Originally planned to release sometime in December, it’s been pushed back to May 21, 2019. While I wasn’t blown away by the game’s E3 demo, it’s been nice to see its cast expand with more weird characters and hopefully it benefits from more time.

Lucas Pope, developer of Papers, Please, has been working on a new game called Return of the Obra Dinn for four and a half years. It’s about insurance and murders on 19th century ships and today he announced it will finally release on October 18 for PC and Mac.

Left Alive will come to PS4 and PC on March 5, 2019, Square Enix announced today. The military soap opera was revealed at last year’s Tokyo Game Show and is set in the Front Mission universe with Armored Cored V’s Toshifumi Nabeshima directing. The Mechonaissance continues apace.
