Arkham Knight’s DLC Makes Me Want To Play A Full Game About Newlywed Superheroes

I recently began playing through the episodics extensions of 2015’s Batman Arkham Knight, with the lowest of expectations. I finished playing them excited about an unusual twist to superhero video games that shows up in the Robin episode. The episodes are all short. The Batgirl-centric “A Matter Of Family” can run a few hours, as…

If you can see Overwatch’s Genji you’ve probably let him get too close. The same applies to his character in Heroes of the Storm. And if that happens, whatever you do, don’t shoot him. A quick highlight posted to the game’s subreddit shows exactly what happens if you decide to ignore that wisdom. At level…

It Takes Hard Work To Build A Beautiful Castle

A solid Cities: Skylines build is always an amazing sight, and this timelapse of a Mediterranean-style castle is a chill viewing experience. Despite being a huge fan of Cities: Skylines, I have to be honest: I am not the most artful player of the game. My roads always look a little clunky, and I a…

Battlefield 1’s easter eggs are normally big things like giant sharks or flying houses, but this small musical reload animation is just as funny as any of those spectacular ones. Normally when you reload a machine gun, you just get a clunky rolling noise. It’s metal on metal. However, according to a Reddit thread dedicated…

Northgard is a different kind of strategy game. It is about map control, sure, and there are resources to be gathered and enemies to defeat. In many ways, though, its unique combination of mechanics and concerns generates a fresh context for those actions. I’m a slow strategy game player. I’m not a fast learner when…

Dragon Ball Super Action Figures Play Well With Others

Bandai America’s Dragon Ball Super Dragon Stars action figures have been flying off the shelves since the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ earlier this year, as fans and collectors scramble to pick up their favorite characters. I Played Super Seducer So You Don’t Have To

Dating is supposed to be fun—in theory. In practice, it can alternate between being frustrating and boring, punctuated with moments of pure distilled anxiety. This is never more true than when you don’t feel like you know what you’re doing. Suddenly, every option feels like it leads to the option where you change your name,…
