God of War’s long-awaited New Game Plus will arrive on August 20, Sony said today. The mode comes in a free update and will offer new gear, tougher enemies with “new tricks up their sleeves,” and an option to skip cinematics. No word on whether you’ll be able to change the size of Kratos’s beard.

Soundfall is a “rhythm-driven dungeon crawler that’s procedurally generated to music”. It’s coming to PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One in 2019, and looks cool as hell.

Here’s a shot of ship customization in October’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as briefly shown in the game’s new behind-the-scenes Facebook video series. Note the slots for crew recruitment, a feature Ubisoft has said is tied to the ability to recruit most non-player characters in the game.

Donut County, another one of those beautiful looking indie games that never seems to come out, finally has a release date of August 28 on iOS, PC, and PS4. There’s a new launch trailer and everything, and guess what, it still looks like a wonderfully chill time. 

A new Digimon game has been announced! Called Digimon Survive, it’s slated for a 2019 release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. No word yet on an international release.
