Dead Cells got a huge new update on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch today. In addition to addition to tweaking the difficulty and adding a new mode for creating custom runs, the update also claims to bring 60fps to the Switch version. The full list of changes is worth checking out.

Fallout 76's patch 5 goes live today bringing a ton of much needed balance changes. In addition to reducing the damage bonuses for explosive and two shot mods by more than half, players are now limited to carrying no more than 1,500 pounds over their weight limit and Bobblehead effects no longer stack. 

Halo: The Master Chief Collection got a nice big update yesterday fixing some things and adding others. Chief among the new stuff are extra skulls for Halo: Combat Evolved and options for making the aiming in the old games more like Halo 5.

Dota 2's massive 7.20 update recently went live, completely changing the game yet again. The map has been reworked with new paths, there’s a dedicated item spot for Town Portal Scrolls, and a ton of heroes have had abilities reworked or changed altogether. Meanwhile, the Dota 2 card game Artifact releases next week. 

Spider-Man’s New Game+ mode has finally been added to the game. Version 1.07 also adds an Ultimate difficulty setting, new frames and stickers for photo mode, and the ability to access photo mode directly with one button press. New Game+ was originally expected at the game’s launch but got delayed.

Today Nightdive Studios released the source port update for System Shock: Enhanced Edition on PC. Not to be confused with the full remake the studio is working on, the update does things like add higher resolution options and mod support for the existing version, while also fixing many of its bugs. 

The latest Fortnite update, patch v5.21, went live this morning adding a new limited time mode called Soaring 50s, the Heavy Sniper Rifle discovered previously by data miners, and a sniper only mode. Soaring 50s is the usual 50 vs. 50 mode but with the ability to re-deploy gliders.

Fortnite’s new update is now live, bringing back a nerfed Guided Missile and Jetpacks in a new limited time mode aptly titled “Fly Explosives.” Both are also now available in Playground Mode. Slurp Juice is also back after last week’s update broke it. I had some this morning. It was good.  

Fortnite turns one year old today and gets a ton of changes by way of the v5.10 update. In addition to a new SMG and a bunch of balance tweaks, it also adds a limited time birthday event complete with special challenges and slices of cake littered across the map.
