2K has postponed the release of Borderlands 3's second Takedown “out of respect for what’s going on in the world.” The event was scheduled to launch today but will now be delayed indefinitely. 2K will also be adding an additional $1 million in funding to its 2K Foundations program.

Game developer Landon Montgomery has passed away, Gearbox announced. He was one of the studio’s co-founders back in 1999. “In our earliest years, Landon played a big role in helping to set our path,” the studio said. “We will always be thankful and remember him for being a part of our lives.”

Borderlands 3 is heading to Steam on March 13, Gearbox announced during its PAX East panel. This version will feature crossplay with the Epic Games Store, which has been the exclusive storefront for the looter-shooter on PC since it launched last September.
