Epic Games' unstoppable online game and social platform debuted in 2017, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing, with a steady stream of collabs with major musicians and iconic franchises.

Fortnite’s Infinity Blade has been vaulted, Epic tweeted today. The company says it is “re-evaluating our approach to Mythic items” after players complained the Blade was overpowered and altered the balance of the game too heavily.

Fortnite’s latest update includes a new weapon, the Infinity Blade. There’s only one Blade per match, and it damages structures as well as dealing 75 damage to players. Additionally, Creative Mode is now available to all players.

Fortnite Season 7 is here. In addition to adding a snowy area to the map, Season 7 brings planes, ziplines, and wraps you can use to customize your weapons. Creative mode is available today for Battle Pass owners, with everyone getting access to the sandbox next week. See the full patch notes for more details.

Fortnite’s account-merging feature has been delayed “until early next year,” Epic has announced. The feature, which will allow players to combine their accounts across consoles, was supposed to arrive in November.
