Fortnite’s newest limited-time mode, Getaway, feels a bit like a mini-crash course in everything you need to know if you want to win in the main battle royale. UncategorizedOne Small Musical Touch Makes Spider-Man Feel More Glorious
One of my favorite things about Spider-Man isn’t the scope or the scale—it’s a little musical touch that I’ll bet took a lot of time to get right. You see, whenever you’re perched on a roof or ledge in the new superhero game, which comes out tomorrow for PS4, you’ll start off in complete silence.…

The PS4 is losing exclusivity on a game you probably didn’t realize it had. The Lego Harry Potter Collection, which consists of two last-gen games covering all seven Potter books, is coming to Xbox One and Switch on October 30. It’s been out for PS4 since October 2016.

Battlefield V‘s Beta Feels Too Slow
I dove into the Battlefield V beta last night. While I enjoyed the tense gunfights, I’m not so sure about some of the game’s changes. From shifts in how ammo is handled to changes to weapon customization, my fun was tempered by some skepticism about what my favorite multiplayer shooter might be like at launch.…

Delightfully Strange Final Fantasy XV Mods
Final Fantasy XV’s PC version brings the inevitable mods. Some are just as kooky as one would hope! In June, Kotaku previously reported on the PC patch that brought mod tools to the game. Since then, creators have whipped up all sorts of things to entertain themselves and us. I thank them for that.

Kotaku EastK-Pop Pick Of The Day: Lil’ Touch
Girls’ Generation just doesn’t know when to stop. That’s a good thing. Despite recently going through a brutal round of contract negotiations that would see any other, lesser girl group call it quits, the remaining five members of this era-defining group coalesced under a “subunit” label, and announced a comeback as Girls’ Generation-Oh!GG. The subunit…

We’ll have a massive gallery of DragonCon cosplay in the coming days, but until that’s ready I wanted to share something in particular that went down during the show: an immense gathering of Overwatch cosplayers.
