Westwood’s classic 1997 point-and-click Blade Runner game is making a comeback. Nightdive Studios, the folks behind the refreshed versions of Turok and System Shock, are bringing Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition to PC, PS4, Steam, and Xbox One with updated character models, animations, and cutscenes.
An improved version of System Shock 2 is in the works. Nightdive Studios, which is currently working on remastering the first System Shock, announced it’s also working on System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition during a Twitch stream last night celebrating the game’s 20th anniversary.
Today Nightdive Studios released the source port update for System Shock: Enhanced Edition on PC. Not to be confused with the full remake the studio is working on, the update does things like add higher resolution options and mod support for the existing version, while also fixing many of its bugs.
