I actually thought I was going to get through an entire weekend without a Halo post and then this had to show up in my mailbox. Artist Pongsak Vanitkul has created this 18" high Master Chief out of old motorcycle parts. According to the eBay page, the figure was arc welded together, polished with a wire brush and then coated with a rust proof lacquer.

At the current time there are no bidders, but the price is set at $139 including free UPS ground shipping from NYC. If you've got the cash and want to get in on this metallic marvel, you have two days left to get your hands on it. But, if Halo's not your style, check out some of his other pieces including Yoda, a Storm Trooper and Predator. I'd love to see what he could do with the Terminator...or maybe Robocop.
