Hinted at in the recent monthly manga Shonen Ace magazine article, here are three newish (low-res unfortunately!) screenies of pointy boob character Angol Fia. Sharp mammaries aside, spikes are fine and all, but these seem to just get in the way. She could get hurt!

NIPPLE ATTACK!!
She looks out of place - They kept the designer's style instead of translating it to the game style, I still lust for this game though.
April fools? And if not then i think im not going to buy the next soul caliber. Those nipples are scary.
If you though the various swords and weapons would hurt you in the game, those things on her breasts are sure to poke out your eyes if you get to close.
I bet she has a throw that utilizes those...spikes.
^_^;
She's no Talim, and if she ain't Talim then I don't give a rats a...
I'm kidding of course, but seriously, where's my girl Talim already?
@Magic Emperor Anima: The ones on her chest or the ones on her head XD
Vader will make short work of her
dangit, didnt read the article T_T, ashcraft made that joke.
@thinkfreemind: QFT! Honestly, Talim's been the one person I've been waiting to see. She's the clincher on whether or not I pick up SC4. Talim with Darth Vader on the side? My dream come true!!!
Man she's like a badass, pyscho court jester. I like her already.
*awaits coming storm of SW and Anime hate mongering.
@SynKade: Thats going to make one weird fan-fic.
@LittleBigPlaneteer: Haha yeah, I've never been a Star Wars fan but I look forward to playing Vader. I wonder what sort of lines he'll say during the character matchup screen.
At this point, with all the crossovers/guest characters I'm hoping for KOS-MOS in the game. (For real, SC3 created character doesn't count).
OT: If these are from the new Famitsu I'm hoping there are some SFIV news, such as some screens of El Fuerte since the last loketest he wasn't playable.
All I have to say is that they better give her a move where she uses those nipple spikes. It would almost be disappointing for them not to.
Also, that codpiece still freaks me out.
Is it just me or this game looks more and more like DOA ?
Is it just me or do her eyes look really out of place?
Nice to see a video game girl with some meat on her bones. Thunder thighs ftw.
@TOCATL: There sure does seem to be alot more sex appeal added to the female characters this time around. Oh well. I ain't complaining.
But I'm seconding everyone else's distressful comments: Where's Talim already? Simply put: I will not play Soul Calibur 4 if it doesn't contain Talim. She's pretty much the only character I have ever or will ever be interested in using in a SC game. This isn't Smash Bros. where if some character you like to use isn't included you can easily just switch. This is serious business, guys.
I'm the biggest Soul Calibur 2 fan ever but I won't buy your Talimless game mark my words!@!
@dowingba: Talim lost her appeal when she stopped being loli. ;D
@Witzbold: When did that happen? Nevermind then. I guess I'll use Nightmare or something.
why is she using a spear instead of her deadly nipples instead?
@T6Spades: Yeah, it looks like she has no pupils. Weirds me out a little bit.
@HateFate: Those are thunder thighs? They look pretty normal to me...and sexy.
@Witzbold: Aha! Now I know why you live in Japan. :P
Does Bashrafts wife read eigo?
@TOCATL: Almost but the breasts have still not surpassed the size of the characters head.
Except for Ivy...
Are her eyes all white? Thats freaky.
@Witzbold: :( Talim is what....16? She's still jailbait...
Hey! What happened to the new SF Character post? I was reading that! Now this is the latest thing posted...what gives!?
@ManjiKengo: Her character design I remember hearing folks bitch about how much its changed from II to III. She does look quite different in III thats why.
@HeartNana: Low quality screenshots. Japan is infamous for that with its online media, since so much of its webpage technology is like back in the 90s.
@Witzbold: Her moves changed alot in III as well. Like, you can press one button and she does a huge combo. Felt really unnatural. It's like Captain Falcon, only less sexy.
Wait, did I just say that?
Did they hire a 14 year old art director for this game? Soul Calibur II was great. This game is a trainwreck and I'd be embarassed to own it.
@Witzbold: It all depends where you look for her . . .
I'm not sure, I can't remember fully, but wasn't Talim 15 years old in SC2?Me being the age I am I can go ahead and say she's hot without being creepy. Ya know, outside of the whole 'She's a videogame character' thing.
@Cchrist: Dude, I'm already on that shit! Hoestly, I was just saying stupid stuff but you my friend . . . have inspired me. Fan fiction will never be the same again. Should I inform you of when it's complete?
Seriously.
*chushhh-huhhh* *chushhh-huhhh*
"Alright Anikin, I don't this this is really gonna work out."
"The name is Lord VADER! I have the FORCE! Obey Me!"
@dowingba: What did you just say. . . ? That's sorta creepy.
Although . . . another Fan-fic! Cap. Falcon and Talim! Falcon Punch, baby, Falcon Punch!
Rule 34. My one true boredom eliminator.
@SynKade: Well, before Zero Suit came and classed the place up, Falcon definitely wore the tightest clothes ever in a video game. That's all I have to say about that.
He also has no pupils, like this new SC character. See how I keep things on topic?
And I could have swore Talim was 14 in SC2. Yeah, you hate yourself in the morning.
Arrrrgh. That blur all over the scene is ugly. If you put a subtel blur on the first elements on the background, and a strong blur on stuff really far (like mountains), I have no problem. But a strong blur is that obvius.. It burn my eyes.
@dowingba: 15...IIRC, anyway. That said, I wasn't especially interested in this guest character previously (the three returning characters confirmed that week were of greater interest to me).
@dowingba: She was 12, let's leave it at that. And how is Talim not on topic?
Anyway (in order to be on topic) this new character really is kind of iffy. She, along with the Zelda wannabe introduced earlier, absolutely do not fit. Not as much as Darth and Yoda but still. I understand they are characters designed by outside artists but regardless they just don't fit.
They're like the 400-pound Gorilla at the dinner table which is still kind of offsetting even with it sitting across from another 400-pound Gorilla that happens to have a Glo-Stik.
@tei: Actual gameplay screens don't appear to have any depth-of-field blur like these. These are either from a photo-mode, replay, or some other game element (like profile page or something) or they're not even in-game shots...or they've been touched up.
@SynKade: They're guest characters. Who cares if they "fit"? Their presence has no impact on series canon, if there even is such a thing...and if anyone really cares. Fighting games aren't known for their storytelling abilities.
@SynKade: I was referring more to the Falcon/Zero Suit stuff as being off-topic. Although really, how can such tight outfits be off topic in any discussion?
@Captain Impulse: The SC series has a pretty distinct style. Sure it's 'realistic' in many ways (Ivy's massive mammories being one of the exceptions) but it still has a certain style to the way everyhting looks, just as Tekken and DOA have. And from what I understand Zipidingigilgawutalongnaem and Spiky-tits here ARE canon. Darth and Yoda, not so much and they are obvious as Gimmick characters, every knows them and if given they're proper 'canonical' abilities they would butcher every one in the Soul Calibur series. It's pretty safe to assume they won't be making any appearances in whatever story mode is present. There are simply little things in the way that they look that somehow, to someone familier with the series, they don't belong. I'm not saying they are bad character's just that the creator's and modelers could have done a better job of getting them to fit the overall look of the game.
She looks like a created character. Hmmmm.
I demand FAKE! >_< Maybe i'm just paranoid, but NOTHING published today will have my attention.
A couple of things... Anatomy, being a 'fan' of the series one could tell that's not the basic figure of a Soul Calibur Fighter. Not the body, not the face, NOT the eyes.
The background... we're used to see blurred backgrounds in SC4 pics, but.... NOT. THAT. MUCH!
The horse..... oooooohpleasethehorse...
@Mr. Pie: Yeah i'm going with the whole "i'm not believing anything thats getting posted in the next 36 hours."
@Mr. Pie: I'm sorry, I'm just so sorry but . . . they're real.
Who would go through the trouble of doing something like creating a full 3D model and the whole process of making these screens.
If they are fake then damn, someone's got more time on their hands then their are hours in the day.
Although if they are fake then I'll be mighty relieved.
@Mr. Pie:
They were posted at Famitsu on March 30th. That's a full two days before April Fools. They are 100% real
@LittleBigPlaneteer:
Not to mention the previous news article from the 26th about this: [kotaku.com]
@dowingba:
Zero Suit Samus does indeed have very tight bodysuit. Captain Falcon looks like he bought the Batman Forever costume. Zero Suit Samus bodysuit is probably tighter than Nicole Ritchie wearing kid's clothes.
Is it just me or are the character designs in SC IV looking kind of goofy? She looks a bit too outlandish to me. And Nightmare and Asteroth looked fantastic on the Dreamcast SC, but now they've just gone completely over the top. Sadly they remind me a bit of Necrid. Blecky.
@LittleBigPlaneteer: Oh yeah? Well Yoda will totally... eff it. I'm stuck with an oversized frog. I am resigned to my fate and shame.
