Nintendo

The company that gave the world Mario, Link, and Samus is the undisputed champ of the modern console war, with nearly 150 million Switches sold since 2017. But now, speculation is rampant about the company's next console, rumored to launch in 2025.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds stations dominate the Xbox booth at PAX East. Behind that, the PlayStation booth opted to front-load Detroit: Become Human, with a couple of setups for upcoming titles like Soulcalibur VI and Yakuza 6 buried in the middle rows. Nintendo’s big draw is the Wolfenstein II Switch port demo.

The original arcade Punch-Out!! is heading to Switch on March 30. That’s when it’ll release on the Japanese eShop, anyway, which anyone can access. It’ll probably end up on other eShops around the same time as part of Nintendo and Hamster’s Arcade Archives. I’m excited!
