The company that gave the world Mario, Link, and Samus is the undisputed champ of the modern console war, with nearly 150 million Switches sold since 2017. But now, speculation is rampant about the company's next console, rumored to launch in 2025.

A cool bit of news from the Japanese Nintendo Direct: In 2020, Nintendo will release Switch remakes of its Famicom Detective Club adventure games, originally released on the Famicom Disk System in the late 1980s. No English version planned yet, but who knows what’ll happen.

Boat-based mystery darling Return of the Obra Dinn is coming to Switch. Nintendo announced during today’s Nintendo Direct that the Switch version of the 2018 already-classic will be out sometime this fall.

The original Puzzle Quest is coming to Switch. Revealed via an eShop listing, Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns includes the classic match-3 RPG and its Plague Lord expansion, plus a new expansion, new quests, and more character classes. It’s out September 19.

New Nintendo Direct tomorrow! Nintendo’s latest showcase is happening tomorrow at 6PM Eastern time, featuring over 40 minutes of information on 2019 Switch games including Pokémon Sword and Shield and Luigi’s Mansion 3.
