UncategorizedI Hate God of War‘s Trolls
God of War is an interesting, complicated game that’s drawn a lot of attention over the past couple weeks. I didn’t enjoy it as much as some did, and that’s all because of one thing: those damned trolls. The first time we see a troll in God of War, it’s the payoff to an emotional…

Frostpunk Keeps Kicking My Ass
Frostpunk is an oppressive game where the world has been covered by snow and humans have to rely on ingenuity and sacrifice to survive. It’s difficult, and it’s kicking my ass so hard that I don’t want to play it anymore. But like the frostpunks themselves, I persevere. I’m not a strategy game quitter. I…

Battlefield 1‘s developers are giving away its They Shall Not Pass expansion, originally released back in March of 2017, for all owners of the game on consoles and PC until May 14. I took this opportunity to go back and play the maps, and I still think they’re some of the best ones released for…

The Shanghai Dragons Are Still Winless, But There Is Hope
After last night’s match against the New York Excelsior, the Shanghai Dragons have a 0-29 record in the Overwatch League, besting (worsting?) some of the longest winless droughts in professional sports history. The 29-straight losses beats out the Philadelphia 76ers, whose 28-game losing streak spanned two regular seasons before it was broken with a win…

An image of a young man mistaking a butterfly for the completely wrong thing has become one of the hottest joke formats lately. The weekend is for it being the beginning of my vacation! I am very excited to learn to cook new food, replace my dead plants, and play a lot of video games. I’ve been tinkering with the solo mode of 39 Days to Mars, a cute little puzzle game. I think it’d be more fun…

Inio Asano Is A Dark Manga Artist For Adults Who Want Something Real
When you’re an adult, sprawling out in the manga aisle of your neighborhood bookstore with a copy of Fruits Basket isn’t the same. Even though it’s got nostalgic appeal for adults longing to relive their childhoods, manga written for teens might not be stimulating enough for the 20+ crowd. These days when I read manga,…
