What Are You Playing This Weekend?
The weekend is for having a three day weekend, the perfect length of weekend for doing the requisite weekend tasks of social stuff, chores, and doing absolutely nothing. (All weekends should be three days weekends. Just saying.) Also, video games. I’ve been playing Impact Winter, which is a survival game with a lot of snow,…

Vanquish PC Glitch Makes Players Take More Damage At Higher Framerates [Update]
I just got done spending some time with Vanquish’s newly released PC version, and it’s a solid port. Looks sharp, moves well, and offers an acceptable array of graphics options. There’s just one problem: it has a really, really strange graphics bug. First reported by Wesker on NeoGAF, the bug essentially causes you to take…

DC Comics Bombshells Action Figures Are Mostly Great
Artist Ant Lucia’s 1940’s re-imagining of popular female heroes and villains has become one of DC Comics’ hottest properties, spawning a line of gorgeous statues, a comic book series, clothing, mugs and more. The only thing missing was poseable action figures. Consider that box checked. I love the Bombshells line. Its mix of World War…

Nier: Automata Cosplay Is Not Fucking Around Here
Here are two Chinese cosplayers—Omiya(2B) and Ichinosehikaru(9S)—going absolutely nuts with their Nier: Automata cosplay partnership. Before you say it, yes, these are heavily edited images. But hey, if you’re going to photoshop your cosplay images, you may as well go hard. And even if you’re the type to recoil at the thought of effects and…

Surprise Counter-Strike Update Adds New Operation With Wacky Game Modes
In recent times, official in-game Counter-Strike events—Operations, as they’re known—have grown rare. Valve only created/curated one in all of 2016. Today, though, without any real warning, they’ve kicked off a new one. It’s called Operation Hydra. Operation Hydra is set to run for 18 weeks. It adds new community-created maps, an Operation pass with a…
