Between Kanye Westand Jay Rock, its clear that music videos that make ample use of Link’s expressions in Wind Waker is a thing. Further proof: this silly Wind Waker music video made last month by Kryptick Bidoof of Phil Collin’s sentimental ‘In The Air Tonight.’ So good!

An Insomniac Games graphic arts intern, who worked on Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, lost her leg in a hit-and-run accident and is facing a long recovery and financial uncertainty with medical bills and college loans. No, The PS4 Doesn’t Have A “Wobbling” Problem

The PS4 does move if you press down on it. Is it a problem? No. I made a video to demonstrate the “wobble” issue, and what you can do to fix it. If you’re not familiar with the PS4’s wobble, when Giant Bomb did an unboxing earlier this week, they noticed that the console would…

It’s About Time The X-Men Fired Angel

Now that Wolverine and Gambit are gone, it’s time for Pete Holmes’ Professor X to take out the X-Men whose wings deserved clipping the most. Fly free, little Angel. You’re dumb. Back when the X-Men were born into the Marvel Universe, flying must have seemed pretty handy. Then came a flood of mutants who could…

Flower On PS3 Versus PS4

Flower is often cited as an example of how beautiful games can be. Part something about flower petals instead of guns, but it’s also to do with how beautifully the environment moved and responded to you. So, as a PS4 launch title, it’s a good example of how visuals have improved since Sony’s last generation…

Someone Stuck an Xbox One at the Bottom of a Shark Tank in New Zealand

Sorry, New Zealand—you are not the site of the first Xbox One to be sold in the world, despite this promotional stunt involving an Auckland aquarium. About 150 folks already have theirs and didn’t have to swim to the bottom of a shark tank for it. But Microsoft pressed ahead with this anyway because, hell,…

If you missed the latest Nintendo Direct, you can watch all of it right here. Topics included Zelda, Professor Layton, Pikmin 3 DLC and other already-announced games through 2014. But the biggest news is the 3DS update that’s incoming.

Eighteen indie games are coming to the Nintendo eShop for 3DS and Wii U. They were showcased today in this Nintendo Direct video; you can see more about them here.

Nintendo 3DS Gets A Big Update Next Month

Next month’s big 3DS system update comes with a few cool new features, including YouTube, the Wii U’s Miiverse, and a balance combining service that will (finally) let you combine your 3DS funds with your Wii U funds on one unified Nintendo account. When the update goes live, all you have to do is sign…

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy launches Feb. 28 for Nintendo 3DS and will be in stores and on the Nintendo eShop. The game will feature a storyline uniting the two Layton trilogies.

The lovely 3DS role-playing game Bravely Default is out on February 7 in North America, Nintendo just announced. Looks like they’re ditching the subtitle for this one.

The PS4 Looks Great Compared To All Our Modern Consoles

Oh, hello, good looking. The PS4 is one sexy console, especially when stacked up next to the blocky consoles some of us may currently have sitting around our TVs. Video editor Chris and I decided to line them all up side-by-side to give you an idea of what I mean. Oh, and stick around until…

Here’s what’s going on Talk Among Yourselves, our reader-written blog: The Mushroom reports on Bowser’s plans for Thanksgiving, which should of course end horribly. Rathorial offers Last-Gen Hero kudos to Gears of War 3 and Aestevalis introduces you to “The Wrestling Torta.” Mmmmm, tasty. Don’t forget that you can always go join the voices talking…

You Can Be Playing A New PS4 Game In 45 Seconds Or Less

When GTA V came out, I tested how long the mandatory 8GB installation took. 15 minutes on an Xbox 360. All next-gen games need to be installed (and are far more than 8GB), so what can you do with 15 minutes on a PS4? Quite a bit, it turns out. I had a brand-new PS4…

Otherwise harmless little things, like the bunny mask from Team Fortress 2, can have a huge impact. For example, it can get someone in the Steam Community to pay homage to Hotline Miami with the game’s characters (complete with 80s sunglasses) in a really stunning way. Dayshot is an image-based feature that runs every morning,…

Need a PS4? Buy One at Sony’s NYC Launch Party

New York City Kotakuites, take note. The Standard, High Line hotel in Manhattan, previously home to the big PS4 review event, will be the site of Sony’s official PS4 launch party in NYC. There will be shenanigans. And actual PS4s—444 of them, in fact. Sony’s just announced that starting at midnight on Friday, people with…

The Assassin’s Creed movie just can’t catch a break. After being pushed back from its original release date of May 22, 2015 to June 19, the movie has once again been delayed by almost two months, to the 7th of August, 2015.

Steam’s Future Is Filled With… Bollywood Dancing?

Yes, someone’s made a game about bollywood dancing. It’s going on Steam, thanks to Greenlight. The people have spoken! Of course, diversity is still the name of the game with this fresh group of community-approved Steam games. We have a charming puzzle game about chemistry. An adventure game which aims to teach children about being…
