Genshin Impact was announced at E3 and now has a gameplay trailer that debuted at ChinaJoy 2019. The open world JRPG has been described as anime Breath of the Wild, which I can totally see, and which I’m totally here for. It’s supposed to come to PS4 sometime next year.

Eliza is a visual novel from Zachtronics, developer of Opus Magnum and EXAPUNKS, coming to Steam August 12. If you’re familiar with Zachtronics’ games, you know they always have a weird twist, and sure enough Eliza revolves around an AI-powerd counseling app and the human forced to be a proxy for it.

The Game Bakers, makers of the boss-rush game Furi, are back with a gameplay trailer for their upcoming project, Haven. It centers on a couple who have escaped to a strange planet together and set out to explore it. Aside from looking gorgeous it’s also giving me major Gravity Rush vibes.

198X is an arcade nostalgia piece due out June 20 on Ps4 and PC. We covered the game when it was Kickstarted last May, and the finish version will feature homages to several different genres of arcade game with a single narrative connecting each of them.

John Wick Hex is a newly announced fight-choreographed chess brought to life” strategy game inspired by the films and being developed by Thomas Was Alone’s Mike Bithell. It’ll feature voice work by Ian McShane and Lance Reddick and come to consoles and be on PC as an Epic Store exclusive.

Hindsight 20/20 is a cool-looking action adventure game coming to consoles and PC sometime in 2020. Announced by Triple-I Games, an indie studio founded by former BioWare, ArenaNet, and Sucker Punch devs, Hindsight is being pitched as a Zelda-like that incorporates morality-based decision making into the gameplay.

Nanotale is a role-playing game where you battle monsters by typing and it looks to be coming along splendidly. It’s actually a sequel to Epistory, a game with similar mechanics but less polished visuals. The developers at Fishing Cactus say to expect on PC in the second half of the year.

Conan Unconquered is a real-time strategy game being made by Petroglyph, a studio formed by some of the original developers on the Command & Conquer series. It’s also a wave-survival game like They Are Billions, which all sounds great on paper. It’s slated to arrive on PC in the first half of 2019.

Wargaming, creator of World of Tanks, is making a Diablo-style dungeon crawler and put out a new trailer showing gameplay today. It looks very sturdy and has a bunch of loot and flashing lights, but because it’s Wargaming I’m still a little skeptical. On the plus side though, it’s not free-to-play.

Behold Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, the follow-up to 2013's Anodyne, a delightful Zelda-like. Ditching the gorgeous pixel art of the original, the sequel looks a lot grimier. Coming to PC in 2019, the game will include both 3D areas reminiscent of a PS2 game and 2D segments that look more like the first game.

Twin Mirror is a new game coming from Dontnod, makers of Life is Strange and Vampyr. The mystery thriller was announced today on Sony’s pre-E3 showcase livestream with a trailer showing early footage of the game which is slated to release in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Afterparty now has a trailer giving us our first good look at the new game from the makers of Oxenfree. You play as two dead college kids who need to out drink Satan in order to return to earth and walk among the living. Afterparty’s due out sometime in 2019.
