Yakuza Kiwami 2 is headed to PS4 on August 28, 2018 for $49.99. A recreation of 2008's Yakuza 2, it will also feature new minigames and an additional campaign in which you play as Majima. Check out the trailer.

Sonic Mania is getting an updated version called Sonic Mania Plus on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC this summer. It’ll include an Encore Mode which changes up some of the levels, two new playable characters, Mighty and Ray, and a four-player competitive mode. A physical version will also be available.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is coming to Switch and PS4 this summer with Sega publishing a physical version. It’s a spiritual successor to the original beloved Sega series whose third game, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, got an excellent remake last year.

Hey there, space cats! Space Channel 5 VR is getting a download release this year in Japan. It will be based on the demo and is headed to the Vive. Pricing is TBA and no word about an international release.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, a game about punching rough dudes and singing karaoke, has been delayed. According to a tweet from the game’s official account, it will now release on April 17th. If you’re eager for Kiryu’s latest misadventure, a demo will be available on February 27th.

Free-to-play mecha battle game Border Break kicks off its open beta test next month in Japan (no word yet about outside the country). Developed by Sega, it’s a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Have a look at the game’s new trailer.
