Dragon Ball FighterZ gets its next update on May 9. It adds new modes, including Party Battle where three players team up to fight over-powered bosses, and fixes a number of bugs. It also tinkers with some characters like Goku Black, but doesn’t do much over all in the balance department.

Fixes for Dragon Ball FighterZ’ connectivity issues are coming. In a video released today, producer Tomoko Hiroki laid out plans for one patch late this month that “might not fix everything,” and another in mid to late March. The plan is to “gradually resolve the issue.” That is certainly a plan.

Goku’s “Perfected” Ultra Instinct form is coming to Xenoverse 2 with the game’s Extra Pack 2 DLC due out this winter according to the latest issue of V-Jump. If you’re wondering what the hell Perfected Ultra Instinct form is, it basically just means Goku’s hair turns grey. What will they think of next?

Two weeks after release Dragon Ball FighterZonline still isn’t working reliably. Players complain of disconnects, matchmaking issues and problems connecting with friends. Bandai Namco says the devs are focused on improving online play. Thank goodness. I’d hate to think they’d given up and wandered off.
