Mark Evans is a very talented goalkeeper and the grandson of one of the strongest goalkeepers in Japan, who supposedly died before Mark was born. Even though his skills and enthusiasm are incredible, his school lacks a real soccer club, as the six other members don't appear very interested even in training. One day, when a mysterious forward named Axel Blaze moves to Mark's town, the young goalkeeper sets out to find and recruit members for his soccer team. There are nearly 1000 playable characters with varying skills that will determine the success of the team. As you play through the story, Mark can recruit various characters on the team and help achieve his ultimate goal of competing!
Ni no Kuni is getting an anime movie this summer in Japan (no word on an international release). Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino is writing the script and former Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose is directing. Previously, Level-5 has turned Professor Layton, Yokai Watch and Inazuma Eleven into anime.
Yokai Watch 4, which Kotaku checked out at the Tokyo Game Show, has been delayed to next spring in Japan. It was supposed to be out winter 2018. Inazuma Eleven: Balance Of Ares, which was slated for this fall, has also be pushed back. It will be out this winter in Japan.
For the first time in six years, Level-5 will be attending the Tokyo Game Show, bringing its latest Yokai Watch and Inazuma Eleven games.
Inazuma Eleven: Balance Of Ares has been delayed to fall 2018 in Japan. It’s slated for PS4, Switch, iOS and Android. A Western release date has not yet been announced.
