Riley’s Top 10 Games Of 2018

Another year, another feast of games to devour. Here are my 10 favorite games of 2018. Vampyr Vampyr was a charming, ambitious game, despite its clumsy combat and sometimes tedious navigation. Getting to know its London’s residents and tending to them as a doctor would, only to feast on them when I needed the XP,…

What Are You Playing This Weekend?

The weekend is for wanting to cook yourself some fancy food for the holiday, which will most likely mean pulling all your cookbooks off the shelf and then staring at them indecisively, giving up, and playing video games. I haven’t had the time to sit down with The Long Dark’s overhauled story mode this week,…

What Are You Playing This Weekend?

The weekend is for needing to buy gloves for a cold weather trip because you somehow don’t own gloves. Also, video games. I’m excited to play Below, even though I can already tell that everything being so tiny is going to be a strain on my old man eyes. I might also get back to…

Fortnite’s Infinity Blade has been vaulted, Epic tweeted today. The company says it is “re-evaluating our approach to Mythic items” after players complained the Blade was overpowered and altered the balance of the game too heavily.

Fortnite’s latest update includes a new weapon, the Infinity Blade. There’s only one Blade per match, and it damages structures as well as dealing 75 damage to players. Additionally, Creative Mode is now available to all players.

What Are You Playing This Weekend?

The weekend is for having been invited to a potluck/Christmas decoration party, which is so wholesome it’s kind of freaking me out. It’s also for playing video games. In my determination to get nowhere in Red Dead Redemption 2 I haven’t had a chance to check out so many recent games, so hopefully I’ll do…

What Are You Playing This Weekend?

Is the weekend for getting up the courage to try to make bread for the first time? No, it’s probably for reading a whole lot about how to make bread and then playing video games instead. I’m still playing Red Dead Redemption 2, even after playing it for three days straight last weekend. I will…

My Nice Guy Approach To A Red Dead Redemption 2 Train Robbery Went Very Wrong

I’ve been mostly playing as a good guy in Red Dead Redemption 2, or at least as much as the game will let me. This is more of a cowardly choice than a moral one. Bounties and lawmen stress me out. Nevertheless, I recently decided to rob one of the game’s trains. It did not…
