This is Popup Dungeon, a promising-looking, heavily customizable fantasy roguelike with a papercraft-esque aesthetic. It's currently trying to raise $80,000 on Kickstarter over a 45-day period, having already passed the $2,000 mark on its first day. Looks like it could turn into a real fun turn-based RPG!

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, the first expansion to Blizzard's action-RPG, has sold 2.7 million copies on PC since its last week launch. According to Blizzard, the expansion's final boss has been slain 1.5 million times so far—a small number, considering you get to kill him over and over in Adventure Mode. Read more

Here's Pikachu conjuring a legit thunderstorm in the Wii U version of the next Super Smash Bros. As director Masahiro Sakurai put it, "Foes can dodge, of course, so the attack won't hit consistently, but when it does, it sure feels good!" Daylight, the procedurally generated horror game, has a new release date—April 29. The date was revealed in the above trailer, released by Atlus yesterday. Hope that phone's got one of those extended batteries. In any case, nota bene, horror fans: Daylight, PS4, PC, April 29.

I like modern houses in Minecraft. They give a good contrast to the fantasy setting, and motivate me to build something more complex than the tried and true crappy cubical wooden plank hut. The 3DS is getting a new Tales of the World RPG in Japan, reports Weekly Shonen Jump (via ANN). The game, called Tales of the World: Reve Unitia, will star several characters from past Tales games, and takes place on Revaria, "a dream world linking the Tales franchise together." Read more
