Peggle 2 is getting multiplayer via free DLC. A recently published Facebook post by Popcap's Jared Neuss outlines their post-release plans for Peggle 2, which include a free piece of DLC adding the multi-player Duel mode from the first Peggle, along with regular updates to "expand and add to" the game's world. The Witch and the Hundred Knight lands in the West next March. Per the company's announcement, Nippon Ichi Software's quirky monster-devouring hack n' slash game is hitting European PS3s on March 21, and North American ones four days later, on the 25th. It hasn't been a week and someone's already put the TARDIS from Doctor Who in Starbound. The game's also got other great mods since its December 4 launch, including a new Toxic planet type and a whole new family of gathering tools, all hosted on their own dedicated modding site—and this is just the first five days.
