Looks like Scottish pro-tennis wannabe Dennis Kinnaird is going take it nice and easy from now on. He's dropped his tennis racket for a sweaty mouse and lots of time with Quake IV, as "the rewards for pro-gamers were far better than those available to pro-tennis players." I think he just means "financially".
Since the man in question hasn't appeared in any Virtua Tennis titles, I'm not familiar with him. However, it doesn't sound like he was having much luck with his tennis career; his only claim to fame having been that he "regularly trained alongside hot prospect Andy Murray". Who? What now?
The BBC has the full story, with requisite mentions of Jonathan "It's Fatal1ty, Don't Call Me Wendel" Wendel, plus cute quotes around words like "map" and "frag".
