Bethesda has patched the recent ports of Doom I and II so that they no longer ask you to login to Bethesda.net. When the games first arrived in late July they prevented you from playing unless you had a Bethesda.net account, which was extremely annoying, but also good for some laughs.

All Destiny 2 players will automatically have their power level raised to 750 when its new expansion Shadowkeep comes out this fall, Luke Smith, the game’s director, said in his most recent post on the state of the game. The boost will apply to every piece of gear players own.
