Sometimes Downloadable Content isn’t Just in the Game, it is the Game
Lots of games have downloadable content. In fact, DLC is becoming something of a point of contention between players and publishers. Indie game developer Ben Kane (who despite his moniker is not actually a comic book supervillain) has launched a game that doesn’t just celebrate DLC, it bases its entire design around it. Called DLC…

Michael Bay’s New Trailer for Need for Speed: The Run is… Awesome, Actually
This new trailer for Need for Speed: The Run was directed by none other than Mr. Bad Boys himself, Michael Bay. It’s got cars, and racing, and quickquickquick cuts! It does not, unfortunately, do that thing where a guy stands there while the camera spins around him. What the fuck, Bay? EA paid you a…

Activision Cools Fears of Pre-Release Modern Warfare 3 Bannings
A foreboding, backchannel warning from Xbox Live’s top cop seemed to suggest that those who legitimately bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 from a retailer, before its official street date on Tuesday, could face sanctions if they played it online. Activision has sought to calm those concerns, although still, it kinda sorta would like…

What Are You Playing This Weekend?
Having supplied my gut reaction to Sonic Generations on Tuesday, I’m still plowing through the game, on course for a review next week. So there’ll be a large portion of that on my weekend menu, alongside BurgerTime World Tour, aka the game that HezaChan’s boyfriend made. BurgerTime is a lot of fun, but a little…
