The Pinkertons have dropped their lawsuit against Take-Two over its depiction in Red Dead Redemption 2. Pinkerton Consulting & Investigation wanted royalties for every time the word “Pinkerton” appeared in the game. Take-Two said no and counter-sued. In a new statement, Take-Two said all claims have been “withdrawn.”

The Westworld mobile game has been removed from stores and will shutdown completely on April 16, 2019, the developers announced yesterday. Bethesda sued the publisher of the game, Warner Bros. Bethesda and Behaviour Interactive announced today they reached an agreement in the case over whether the latter ripped off Fallout Shelter in the creation of the Westworld mobile game. Bethesda had filed a lawsuit in June 2018 claiming parts of the code for its game had been copied. That litigation is now over.

Instagram sensation Backpack Kid has announced he’s suing the makers of Fortnite for ripping off his dance to create its super popular flossing emote. He joins the ranks of actor Alfonso Ribeiro and rapper 2 Milly who are also suing the studio for stealing their signature dances as well.

Warner Bros. says development studio Behaviour Interactive has assured it that the allegations in Bethesda’s recent lawsuit are untrue, according to a statement made earlier today. The $500 million verdict Zenimax won against Facebook over the Oculus Rift was cut in half yesterday by a U.S. District Court, Bloomberg reports. The parent company of Bethesda had sued the social media company claiming its VR headset was developed using intellectual property stolen by former employee John Carmack.
