Hitman GO, the mobile, Hitman-themed strategy game, is coming to PC, PS4, and PS Vita next Tuesday. Launching as the “Definitive Edition,” it’ll feature full Steamworks integration on PC and cross-buy/cross-save on PS4 and Vita, with upgraded visuals and all updates from the mobile version intact.

If you’ve pre-ordered the upcoming Hitman game, you’ll be able to play the beta soon. The beta lets players go through the game’s opening sequence, which you can play over and over. On PS4, the beta will be live from February 12 to 15 and on PC, it’ll be open on February 19, ending on February 22.

Square Enix has announced the new Hitman game is now episodic, meaning you don’t have to pay $60 upfront—you can pay in chunks. Previously, the game was going to cost $60, but there’d be new content released every so often. The first episode hits March 11.

Square Enix has delayed Hitman from December to March 2016. “These few extra months will mean we can add more to the launch content of the game, more than we had originally planned, and then follow with a tighter frequency of updates, which ultimately will create a better game for everyone.” Read more on their blog.

So is the new Hitman episodic or a full game or what? Here’s some clarity, via the developers: on December 8 you can spend $60 to buy a digital version that will be updated with new stuff over the course of the following year. Or you can buy it on disc “at some point” in 2016. (For more, read the FAQ on their website.)

It’s a tale of two season passes. 2K Games announced a second season pass for Evolve—five new characters, one new monster—while io Interactive told Videogamer its new Hitman will not have a season pass at all, as the game’s extra content is free. Read more
