Epic Games' unstoppable online game and social platform debuted in 2017, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing, with a steady stream of collabs with major musicians and iconic franchises.

Lightsabers are temporarily back in Fortnite, Epic announced in a tweet today. Just in time for Star Wars Day, so far I’ve found one in a chest. 

Fortnite’s current season will end on June 4, Epic announced in a blog post today. The developer wrote, “We have multiple game updates on the way that will deliver fresh gameplay, new Challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up our sleeve!”

Fortnite’s 12.20 update brings a helicopter, changes to Pleasant Park and the Oil Rig, and the addition of locker presets. Fortnite’s 11.50 patch adds the previously-mentioned Unreal Engine Chaos physics system. The Launch Pad has returned to non-competitive modes. Sidegrading was removed from competitive modes; Epic says its inclusion was unintentional.
