EA released a blog post today outlining changes to Star Wars Battlefront II’s controversial loot crate system. Among the changes are the removal of epic loot from crates and a minimum level requirement for upgrading star cards. We’ll see if it helps when the game launches next month.

EA just announced sign-ups for the closed alpha of Battlefield 1 Incursions, a new 5v5 competitive mode that allows only one vehicle per team. The alpha, which debuts for selected players in September, will feature a scaled-down version of Battlefield 1's Giant’s Shadow map. Sign-ups end August 26 at 11:59 pm PDT.

The WNBA is coming to NBA Live 18, publisher EA said today. This is the WNBA’s first appearance in a basketball video game, although the NBA Live series has been shaky in recent years.
