Cadence of Hyrule is getting some surprise free DLC today. The Octavo’s Ode update will add its titular boss as a playable character with his own story. The game will also get the traditional gameplay of the original Crypt of the Necrodancer in the form of a new Dungeon mode. 

Street Fighter V is getting Seth as part of the Champion Edition coming February 14, Capcom revealed during last night’s Capcom Cup finals. The Street Fighter IV villain is a genetically engineered M. Bison clone who’s able to copy other characters’ move sets. 

The Outer Worlds is getting some story DLC next year. Developers Obsidian Entertainment has announced plans to expand the story of The Outer Worlds via DLC released in 2020.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 gets four more X-Men on December 23. The Switch exclusive’s second DLC pack, Rise of the Phoenix, adds Iceman, Gambit, Phoenix, and Phoenix’s, time-displaced son, along with a Danger Room mode where players can fight against the AI or each other.

Borderlands 3 is getting a casino heist on December 19. Called Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, the update is the first of four story expansions included in the game’s season pass. Meanwhile, the game’s first new endgame activity Takedown at Maliwan’s Blacksite will go live tomorrow. 

Janemba will be Dragon Ball FighterZ’s final new character added as part of its season two pass, according to a listing that briefly went up on the Nintendo UK eShop overnight. The demon of pure evil you can transform people into jellybeans seems likely to get announced at Evo 2019 this weekend. 

The third episode for This War of Mine’s Stories DLC drops on August 6. Called Fading Embers, it’ll follow the story of Anja as she’s faced with decisions about saving people or the things they’ve created featuring non-linear gameplay and multiple endings. The game is currently free on the Epic Game Store.
