Summary

Another year, another feast of games to devour. Here are my 10 favorite games of 2018.
Vampyr’s new difficulty modes are live today. When starting a new game, players can select Story mode, which de-emphasizes combat, or Hard mode, which makes combat tougher and reduces XP gained from defeating enemies.
Vampyr will get two new modes “later this summer.” Story mode will emphasize narrative, while hard mode will make the game’s fights “much more difficult.” I thought Vampyr would be great with less combat, so I’m excited to check out these changes when they’re live.
