Some Very Cool Art

Klaus Wittman is a concept artist from Poland. This is some of the best stuff we’ve featured on Fine Art in a long time. Space pioneers, Nazi mechs, some very cool Blade Runner, Fallout and Witcher 3 fan pieces, it’s all just the best. You can see more of Wittman’s work at his ArtStation page…

The Week In Games: Virtual Fatality

As another wave of virtual reality technology breaks along the shore of humanity this week with PSVR, it’s only a matter of time until someone becomes the first person to die as a result of virtual reality. “We made some core decisions early on that we weren’t going to kill people.” That’s what Piers Jackson…

New York Comic-Con’s Cosplay Was Incredible

What Are You Playing This Weekend?

Sometimes, when Saturday morning rolls around, I think, “Oh boy—two whole days to do all the work I didn’t get to during the week!” I’m like that, readers. But, since I work at Kotaku, sometimes that work is playing video games! I’m just going to admit that I’ll be playing some Overwatch, because I have…

10 Counter-Strike Bugs Valve Still Hasn’t Fixed

Counter-Strike is a game of skill and precision. In theory, it’s the sort of shooter where, if something goes wrong, you have only yourself (or your teammates) to blame. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. In the past, I’ve posted about how unreliable the game’s guns can be. Sometimes, shots that look like hits will…

The Overwatch Outfits At Our Cosplay Ball Blew Us Away

Hey look, it’s the guy from Hotline Miami! Great outfit, huh? But what probably actually drew your eye in the above shot is another awesome, massive Reinhardt outfit, which stole the show at our recent io9/Kotaku Cosplay Ball. Not that there wasn’t other terrific Overwatch cosplay, because of course there was. We had a Zarya…

What Video Game Shit Are You Too Old For?

I am old, Gandalf. I know I don’t look it, but I’m beginning to feel it in my heart. I’m in my mid-30s, and as of tomorrow I’ll officially be in my mider-30s. In video game years, that means I’m like 90. I’ve finally reached an age where, as Tracy Moore pointed out last year…

They’re collections of his beautiful artwork, which combines idyllic imagery from a Scandinavian childhood in the 80s and 90s with…aliens and mechs. We’ve featured Simon’s art here before, but the images below are from Things…
