Bringing anime eyes to life in a natural, yet accurate way is difficult. Few do it better than Winnie Yap.

For the past few years, she has been uploading eye make-up tutorials on YouTube, showing how portraying anime eyes isn’t only about color contacts.

Rather, make-up is also key and helps make eyes look larger and more anime-like. Also, don’t forget about eyebrows! (And please, do be careful while using contacts, whether that’s for cosplay or to correct your vision.)
