    Tony Hawk's Project 8 Drops Online Play For PS3

    The nebulous state of the Playstation 3's online strategy grows more and more worrisome.

    According to GamesIndustry.biz, Neversoft has dropped online play as a feature in Tony Hawk's Project 8, one of the more awaited launch titles in the Playstation 3 line-up.

    And here's where it really looks bad:

    Neversoft is confident the PS3 version of the game will ship at launch in November, but it still hasn't received all of the software libraries and has no indication of how the online components will work on PS3, so it's not offering them.

    Definitely don't expect to see much online play in launch titles if even developers still don't really have any idea how it's going to work. Florian Eckhardt
