Thinking About LGBTQ Students, Japanese School Institutes Uniform Freedom

A junior high in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture is allowing students to mix and match uniforms how they please in an effort to be more aware of LGBTQ students’ feelings. Considering how some teens pick schools on whether they like the uniforms or not and many students dig the getups, wearing the academic threads is less…

Earlier this week, Dr Disrespect, the self-proclaimed “face of Twitch,” returned to the streaming platform and pulled in what Twitch says was a record-breaking number of viewers. I Am Sorry, Star Wars Fans

Is this NSFW? Who knows any more. Maybe? The Dairy Princess is the work of sculptor Mike Strick, who is actually selling a small quantity of them on his site for £40 (USD$55). It’s 120mm wide and 90mm tall, making it roughly a match for standard 3.75 inch action figures. Sweet dreams, everyone.

Logan Paul’s Eye-Rolling Return To YouTube

Even Logan Paul’s comeback tour sucks. The brawny social media star who built an image around being a maverick was shamed early last month when a YouTube video crassly showcasing a suicide victim in Japan convinced the internet that he was an insensitive asshole. Scorched by nearly universal criticism, he took a break from his…

The Next Game From The Makers Of FTL Is Brilliant

Into The Breach, the next game from the creators of FTL, is sort of like a cross between XCOM, Advance Wars, and FTL itself. But maybe it’s best described as beautiful kaiju chess. Here’s the premise: You, controlling a gang of three time-traveling mech pilots, must defend a cluster of islands from alien invaders. To…

Why People Pirate Video Games

For such an important topic, it’s a shame that we can’t ever seem to have a real discussion about video game piracy. Any attempt normally goes down like this: people downloading games are painted as criminals, publishers trying to stop them are portrayed as monsters, everyone sticks to this division and nothing ever gets done…

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition Keeps Things Nice And Simple

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is an abridged Final Fantasy XV for players without the time, patience or attention span for the full game. What a brilliant idea. I am one of those players. I own the original version of Final Fantasy XV on two different consoles, and I’ve launched into the early moments of…
