The biggest news of the day is undoubtedly that there are plans to make a live-action series on Netflix based on The Legend of Zelda. While it’s not clear whether or not the series will happen, the very idea has people talking.
Can you imagine it? Who would they cast? Hell, would it be good? Most people are skeptical, especially given previous attempts at Zelda shows, and Nintendo movies. Nevermind the fact that the show is supposed to be a family-friendly take on Game of Thrones. Lots of people can’t help but crack jokes about the idea of a live-action Zelda series, too. The idea just sounds so goofy. Of course, there’s always the possibility that a Netflix series could be great, too. If anyone could pull it off, it would be Netflix. And so reactions range from incredulous, to pumped, and just about everything in-between.
