Yakuza / Like A Dragon

Sega's organized crime epic blends high-stakes drama with goofy humor and absurdly in-depth minigames. The latest installment, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, launched in January 2024.

Yakuza 5 arrives on PSN for the PS3 on Tuesday, December 8. The release date, confirmed during the PlayStation Experience keynote today, also comes with news of Yakuza 0 eventually coming to Western PS4 consoles.

Is there a new Yakuza game incoming? Its official site reads “2015.09.15,” which is the date of Sony’s upcoming press conference. Series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi tells Famitsu that work has begun on a new project related to Yakuza.

I have wanted to play Yakuza forever, and I'll have no excuse next month, as Yakuza 4 is part of February's PlayStation Plus lineup. Transistor and Apotheon are for PS4, while Yakuza 3 and Thief are for anyone still booting up PS3s. Rogue Legacy is for every platform, and Kick & Fennick is Vita-only.

Yakuza: Zero sure looks fantastic. Check out this gameplay video (footage starts about four minutes in), which shows off the game world and some very realistic puddle reflections.
